I posted this topic before and I didn't get may responses so I figured I would try again. I recently bought a 7'6" MH bass pro extreme rod for flipping, Pitching, and frogging. I don't have a basic 7' MH yet so would it be good use this rod for some basic techniques?

Use it for anything you would a 7'mh rod for only difference is 6 inches. 

It should work just fine, the extra length will help give a little casting length. As long as the weight of the bait you throw is enough to load up for cast it will be good for jigs, t-rigs, c-rigs and everything else a MH does. Extra length will not change that.

Personally I like a 7'6" rod as my worm, tube, senko rod. 

Remember 20 years ago all of these specialized rods didn't exist and fish were still being caught.  No matter how many different "technique specific" rods are put out there by the manufacturers, it's still just a blank with guides.  Tie on some various lures and see if the action works, I think you'll be surprised at the range of baits a single rod can handle and still catch fish.

This rod comes in 2 versions, standard MH 3/8-3/4 oz and Telescopic MHT 3/8-1 1/2 oz, which rod do you have?

The MHT list double the lure weight range meaning it's a Heavy power rod verses a MH. I haven't any experience with either rod so can't give you advice other than the rod is too long to cast easily with accuracy. Longer rods a good for rigs like a C-rig, crank baits hollow body swimbaits.
