The bullet jig

Featured Replies

I just made a few of these bullet jigs.  How do they look?

Looks like a super grass or swim jig to me. ( niiiccceee jigs)

Looks good, GMAN.  One question though.  No trailer barb or keeper on them?

Looks REAL good to me.  I use something very similar, in a 1 oz. size.  The only difference, it has a very short, hand tied, poofball trailer.

Na,  I've always just threaded the trailer on.  Never used a keeper.

What mold and hook, if you don't mind saying?

GMAN,

That hook and mold are a great combo. I've been using something real similiar all season. It does have very good weedless qualities and is also good for a swim jig, like someone said.

Nice jig.

Its a doit bullet mold and a mustad ultra point

That's the reason I asked, I thought it was the Do-It bullet, but wasn't sure.

I'm thinking about buying the # 412152 mold that throws the same jig but in 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 for finesse stuff. I like what I see!
