john day river for small mouth?

Has any flyfished the john day river in oregon for small mouth bass?  I want to plan a trip there this summer but I would like to get some infomration.

Its a great float if you have some time to dedicate to it.  Jerkbaits, tubes, lipless cranks are all great baits.  I know a lot of guys get some big smallmouth in late April and May.

I just noticed your screen name.  Im sure there flies like clousers and leech patters that would be killer.

I know this is a wrong spelling but check out a mai hai outfitters out of that area....been doing the float for years and they catch a ton.
