Bass Fishing for Walleye
We have big walleye in WA and OR that are just starting to get attention. When I fish Banks lake for bass, I often take home walleye that I pick up while fishing grass lines with grubs. Especially when lighter colors like white and chartreuse come out. Swimbaits also pick up their fair share.

Washington Fish Size?
I really like fishing smaller lakes in a jon boat or pontoon. I tend to decrease bait size a little and have my best luck fishing slow. The whacky rigged senko can be killer around wood near shore when I fish largies. For smallies, I've had great luck with tubes, grubs, jerkbaits and big cranks. My favorite was the #7 parrot colored Rapala Risto Rap.

Bass fishing Oregon
Just above the bonneville dam has been a good spot for me. I normally fish jerkbaits and tubes around rocky areas like Cascade Locks. It gets particularly good when juvenile shad make their way down during the late summer.

Memphis Police
I resemble that remark! Ive been an LEO for almost 11 years and I love my job. We have agencies locally that have a hard time recruiting and its usually related to people not wanting to work for those agencies due to leadership philosophy and pay. I work for an agency that offers good training, opportunity to be involved in niche areas like drug enforcement, gangs, street crimes, etc. Another issue is standards. We often hire young recruits out of college who haven't been anywhere or done anything. They dont put what they see on the job in context with life experience. But, they can pass a polygraph because they've never done anything unfavorable. Lots of great candidates are eliminated because of small issues from their past and most isn't even criminal. But, they would be great officers because they've seen the dark side and aren't naive about it.

NG from WA State
Hello everyone, I'm a new member from Washington State. I grew up fishing saltwater for salmon, seabass, lingcod and halibut. A lot of fishing days are lost due to rough seas and I got tired of not fishing on my days off. I moved further inland for college and got introduced to Smallmouth Bass on the Snake River. Needless to say, I got hooked. I moved back to the coast after college but still hit local lakes for both largemouth and smallmouth. Its becoming more and more popular up here amongst the salmon snobs. I hope to learn more techniques to get more consistent at putting quality fish in the boat. My favorite techniques include finesse fishing soft plastics, jerkbaits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits. I want to develop more skill with jigs and finding fish off the bank. Tight lines!
