Another video for any walleye fisherman. While we don't really know what we are doing when it comes to walleye, we still hook into a few good ones. Enjoy.

 

Those are some great looking 'eyes! I'll have to show this to my dad. He's a walleye guy and every time I get him to fish for walleye with me where we're "fishing too shallow and too fast with too big of lures", we catch way more fish than we do jigging crawlers or trolling. 

We have big walleye in WA and OR that are just starting to get attention.  When I fish Banks lake for bass, I often take home walleye that I pick up while fishing grass lines with grubs.  Especially when lighter colors like white and chartreuse come out.  Swimbaits also pick up their fair share.

Shimmy your going to have to rename that boat the walleye wizard. 

new GA walleye record was caught about 25-30 minutes from my dad's house.... he sent me a message this morning about it and asked when we're going!

The best part was when someone said "Are we really catching walleye out here?"

I tend to catch smallies and walleye interchangeably, same habitat, slightly different lures (sometimes).
