Went out tonight for about a hour. Caught this guy the first cast. Didn't have a single bite after though. My buddy caught a small, small mouth while he was trying to catch catfish.

I've been out twice now in the last week. No luck what so ever. A buddy caught a few small cat fish, but I'm not into that. I think this weather is messing things up. I'll be going back out again Saturday afternoon.

I've been super busy. I haven't been back out. I'm off tomorrow (Good Friday) so I'll be going to Sangchris. Hopefully I have good luck. I may try to fish a pond too if I can get a hold of the owner.

These showed up yesterday! I tried one of them which is in the other picture. I'm looking forward to hitting the lake again this weekend.

good job! Still not having much luck around springfield area. Going out again this weekend and next weekend as long as it doesn't rain again.

I bought several 6th sense lures! 75X Tried out one this afternoon. I ended up catching this little guy the second cast out. Caught another small one shortly after. It was just too windy and cold for me. I'm going back next weekend. I'll try all of the lures I purchased from 6th sense and post the results!

Signed up on here a long time ago. Just checking in. I'm located near Springfield, IL. I'm thinking about going out to Sangchris to fish tomorrow afternoon. I've really never got into Bass fishing but I want to this year. I've had fun the few times I have caught them. Any tips? Advice? Suggestions on which side of the lake to fish on at Sangchris? I don't have a boat yet. Just bank fishing for now.
