Finished bass rod builds

Featured Replies

These are 2 rods I just got through working on. They are pretty simple builds. One is a Forecast IM6 7' MH-F and the other is a Netcraft IM6 6' MH-F. The NC is an LSU themed rod. The FC is pretty basic with the exception on the gold eyes in the guides. I ran into a few uh-ohs here and there, but I am just getting started out building. But I try to learn from the mistakes and push on to get better.

Good work. Like the LSU rod. Nice Pig in your pic how much did she weigh?

I hope the rod with gold guides will be getting some epoxy for the threads.

Approximately #25. I think the pic was doctored ;)

That is a doctored picture from lake Dixon in Calif and the angler is Matt Weakley (although that's not his head) and the fish is Dottie. She was first caught in 03 by Jed Dickerson. She was last caught during the spawn on March 20, 2006. She weighed 25.01, and, was released to make one last spawn and was found floating.

I have posted the original image of Matt & Dottie

Tight Lines All!

I thought something looked off about the picture but yet something looked familiar. weird. I actually watched a show about that fish a year or two ago.  ;)
