Table Rock Guiding Help

Featured Replies

I am looking to take a trip down to Table Rock here in the next few months to fish with a guide. Im a college kid (in other words Im broke). Any suggestions on the best guides down there, for reasonable prices? Thanks guys

All the guides charge about the same, you may pick up a discount off season but not during peak time..

Call Pete Wenners ,Eric Olliverson , Bill Babler or Bill Beck..

Those are some of the best you're going to find on the lake.

"Reasonable", is subjective. I tried to save money on a guide once, terrible idea. We basically followed the guides who actually knew what they were doing, still didn't catch any fish, not the ones we were after anyways. Ended up trying to navigate a narrow rapids (on the White River in Arkansas fishing for brown trout), hit a rock and the whole motor jumped off the back of the boat. He was an older guy so my buddy and I drug him and his boat 2 miles upriver back to the ramp and he still wanted us to pay him.
