Nice.

Going have to give this a try.

A-Jay

I started using this toward the end of last season and my last three trips I think I caught as many fish with this rig as I did the rest of the season combined.  It kills.

Nice, Glenn!

I fish it pretty much the same way, but where I fish,
the Zoom Tiny Fluke in watermelon red flake on a
1 or 1/0 EWG works like candy to a sugarholic.

For me that works better than ribbon tails, etc.

Are you typically fishing this in the dead heat of summer like when you would a Carolina rig? Just curious.

Dangit Glenn!! Now you got me all pumped up to try this thing again. I bought all the stuff for it last spring, tried it twice, didn't catch anything on it and put it all away. Just wrong timing, I'm sure. Seems like a good "hard day" technique. Thanks for posting.

One of my very favorites, especially for deep weeds in the summer. I like to let the weight slide freely in front of a bobber stop. I think I feel strikes better than when the weight is completely pegged, because the line can pull through the weight when the fish picks it up. It also seems to cut down on how often the fish gets deep-hooked.

Yes, I do exactly that.

I've fished it in every season, but yes, late summer along deeper lay downs, grassy areas, etc., is a favorite time to fish it.
