For those that own one what are your thoughts on the Dobyns Fury 733C? I ordered one online thinking that it could be my underspin, Keitech swimbait, chatterbait, undressed Shockblade rod. I mainly fish St Clair which isn't overly weedy.

    I haven't fished that rod in particular but I have fished a 3 power Dobyns Champion and I think it will be perfect for what you are wanting to do.

    Good choice! That should be a perfect setup! Should be getting my 703C & 705CB this weekend :) This weather in MI & OH is for the birds!

    Sounds like we were thinking similarly. Unfortunately I canceled my NRX order and my replacement concession was that 733C. It was the only thing that kept me from crying.

    I'd say it's a bit heavy for the chatterbaits. But the 733 will work well. Just know that it's got a quicker taper and is heavier than the savvy.
