Sweet Fat Impacts there bros.

Yeah, I kind of agree with your sentiment.  I love the Rage line of baits and I love Fat Impacts.  I'm sure this will be a successful bait for SK and it doesn't bother me that they made this bait.  However, to act like this is some cool, new design seems kind of silly.

I will definitely be carrying them.

  • I don't know where they're for sale yet, but I know they're fish catchers. Two sizes available, 4" and 4.75". Try 'em keel-weighted, on a swim jig, on a shakey head, on an umbrella rig (Yessah!), or w

  • Yeah, A-Jay. I like em on a Rage Blade, too. So slow on the fall, and lots of kick, while being able to walk through the wood and stuff.

Really interested in hearing or seeing what color options will  be offered. I am sure a basic 6-8 colors to start with more added depending upon how sales go. If the colors are what I am after I would probably be buying a dozen packs right off the bat.

Ok...I have this bait and have fished this bait, as well as keitechs. It is not the same bait..it has its own innovative features and stands alone from other ribbed swims.

ICast?....July?.....But I need them NOW!!!

Care to expand on the differences?

This is the info I've gathered from Big O and Mike at Seibert Outdoors on this forum.

The ribs are reversed, cuped forward. The tail has the Rage Tail lip. You get one extra bait more in each size per pack than what Keitech offers. Also the price point will be about the same or even somewhat cheaper.

The reversed, forward facing ribs have been a "feature" on the Skinny Dippers since the beginning. Not saying the Swimmers aren't better,. Don't know, haven't used them yet.
