Down here we have a say: "Febrero loco, Marzo otro poco" ( crazy February, March a little bit too ) because weather during February is crazy, one day it´s sunny, clear blue skies and 85º at mid day and then a few hours later the temperature drops to 60º and gets cloudy and rains. March weather is a lot more stable and it´s when it actually begins to get warm and cozy around here, however, during this month occasionally we have odd weather patterns and today it was one of those days, the past couple of days there has been rain and cold but today at 8:35 AM it snowed  , for 5 minutes but those were snowflakes what I saw falling. Unfortunately I could´t take a picture because at soon as the snowflakes touched the grass they melt.

Maybe former Mr Vice President Al Gore was right and pretty soon dogs and cats will be living together ?

Dec 13, 1997, that´s how the city´s main plaza looked that day, it had been 80 years since the last time it snowed.

It´s not uncommon for us to see snow in the highest parts of the "Sierra de Lobos", but down here it´s highly unusual, as I mentioned, it last too little and not enough to even remotely resemble to what you see in that picture.

It actually snowed heavily in the Sierra today, the road to San Felipe is closed.
