Looking for a quality rod repairman in wnc

Featured Replies

I have a brand new Glx rod that I need a couple guides repaired. I would like it done locally so I don't have to ship.

Where is WNC? Western North Carolina?

That's ugly but not an urgent repair. Try the search tool at tackleworks.com.

Thanks I tried the search, nothing within a few hours unfortunately. So looks like I will be shipping off for the fix.

You have a G. Loomis machine that needs repairs.

Go to a pro to have it done.

Our own Delaware Tackle can help you with this project.

whereabouts in WNC?  I do not know of many or any reputable folks in the area (grew up in Franklin).  Most of them are fly fishing focused anyways.

Contact Mike at Delaware Valley Tackle (site sponsor).  I've bit the bullet and shipped a couple reels and a rod to him to get repaired and i couldn't have been happier with the results and his customer service.  He turned my equipment around very quickly too, missed virtually no time on the water!  rest assured that Mike will get you squared away!

on a side note, i'll be up in Franklin this weekend and hoping to get my dad out on the water and do a little fishing with the old man!

They need to learn how to apply finish more sparingly.  2 things I hate to see on rods:  Footballs and a finish web in front of the guide.
