Project Z issue...

Started using this bladed jig last year. Really impressed until this spring. This had happened 3 times now. Anybody else having this issue or am I an outlier? I've closed the loop as far as it will bend without altering the baits balance but it still slips out. I may try to solder the gap closed on the ones i have but if the problem persists....

None of mine have done that! Maybe im just lucky? I would absolutely put a drop of solder on it if you can get it to stick. If not, a very small ball of JB weld putty on there will close the gap.

I had two that was like that. Stuck mine in a bench vice, didnt hurt a thing and still fishin them. I did my own quality control :)

Get a hold of zman. They will take care of you.

Yeah there was another post not long ago zman rep made a unhappy customer give them another chance. Couldn't hurt to try.

A drop of super glue should fix that right up.

It seems to be an ongoing issue...on the ones I owned I tried to close it as far as I could and just put some glue to help secure.  No issues since
