G.loomis nrx spinning rod question

Featured Replies

Alright guys so im finishing up my spinning arsenal and i have 1 more reel that does not have a rod. It is a stella c3000xg.

Currently i have-

Shimano clarus 6'6 medium fast

Shimano clarus 6'10 medium heavy fast

Zodias light 6'8

Zodias medium light 7ft

Zodias medium 7ft

Crucial medium heavy 7ft

Falcon bucoo medium moderate 7ft

Im pretty set on a g.loomis nrx. Which would you recommend as far as lenght and power goes. Really want it to be an all arounder but its a hard thing to do.

I see there are some 6'8, 6'10, 7'1, 7'3.

Never had an nrx so i need some advice from nrx owners.

Thanks

I think the 852s is the all around nrx spinning rod.  I have the 822syr, which is a good light weight rod, but I would consider it an all around rod

I just bought 2 NRX 872s to me it's the perfect size rod but to each their own. You're likely probably looking at the 842, 852 or 872 though.

100% 852s

I have a Stella 3000 on an NRX 842. Love it. Can do pretty much everything I need in spinning applications.
