I see a lot of stuff for sale just wondering what works best and is easy to carry, clippers work great for my other lines but my knife cuts braid better

I just keep a small pair of sharp scissors in my tackle box. Haven't found anything that works better.

I use finger nail clippers. When they get dull, throw them away and get a new pair.

When I used braid I used the

I asked the same question not long ago and someone recommended it. I picked one up from Amazon and love it. I keep it clipped to my tackle bag on one of the zippers. Love the fact that it will cut limp braid.

I use academy aluminum pliers. They have a cutter on one side that slices through braid

i just use my pocket knife. its not even a nice knife,just something i tote daily for work.

I have a pair of Mustad braid cutters that work anytime I need them

The Boomerang snips are the best, I've had much better experiences with them than with scissors or pliers with braid cutters.

I have had two Boomerang snips for about
3 years, and after some time, they don't 
cut braid that has had its wax coating stripped
after a bit of use.

At least this is my experience. I still have to 
tighten the braid when cutting.

Are you cutting mono or fluoro with them? The short snips have worked a lot better for me than the longer ones too.

I cut copoly, FC, and braid with them.

Cutting the copoly and FC will hurt the ability for the Boomerang or any braid cuter to cut braid. The mono/fluoro tweaks them and they just don't cut the same after that.

Bic Lighter Available at most local gas stations.

I just use a pair of cheap braided scissors from cabelas. 2 years now and they still cut braid like butter

My wife's cross stitch  scissors. If I lose them the scissors that are in the kitchen that everyone uses to cut things open with. If they get lost I then go to the steak  knives that I also use to prune the bushes. After that I break out the floss and use the cutter on the end of that. If that dulls I use the finger nail clippers.......... I ran electricity to my dog house because it seems that I am always in it and wanted it a little more comfortable. If I run out of everything else I will use one of the Boomerang snips I have but only if I can't find anything else in the house.

I use the kvd mustad scissors/split ring plier combos. Been working good for over a year now

The Boomerang Snip is the best 12 dollars I ever spent

 

Picked up a pair of hemostats with a line cutter and hook eye punch from bps. Can't remember the brand but I think jfranco may have recommended them some time back. They work great. 

Or kids fiskars.

Toenail clipper, for all lines.

Fresh off the shelf, they're plenty sharp, and they cost a buck.

One more vote for the Boomerang.
