Buzzbait question

Featured Replies

When is the best time to use a buzzbait? Also, what is the best knot to use? I have tried using a Palomar knot, but every time I tie it, I can move the knot side to side with my finger, (it's loose). Any suggestions? Thanks -Alex

If they know is moving along the wire, that's not much of a problem. I generally use them at dawn and dusk. I do a lot of night fishing, buzzbait is the bomb for night fishing,

Early and late are best but they can work all day long, even if it's sunny out. Nothing wrong with your knot being able to move like that.

Buzzbaits are very good baits for night fishing and when there is heavy rain. I use a Palomar knot and it's fine if the knot slides
