For those who fish off a kayak

1. How do you get lures quietly into cover. Flipping and pitching has been impossible for me sitting so low.

2. How do you rig up a fish finder? Battery, transducer?

I fish a nine acre pond (The Secret Pond) in an Ocean Kayak and I don't really care for it. I have no electronics and use a paddle. I position the kayak twenty yards off the bank and fish parallel to cover and structure for the most part. I make full casts, no pitching, no flipping. I get a lot of practice at making soft, accurate casts! The upside is, I do catch a lot of bass.

I'm getting one soon for river and creek fishing.I don't see how anyone could pitch from it .As for electronics It'd be a tight fit.I'm planning on a paddle,one spinning R&R,and a small box of select lures.Good luck on your rig.
