Grubs: tail up or down?

Featured Replies

I'm usually a tail up guy. Don't know why been doing it that way for awhile. What do you guys like and and specific reason why?

I was always a tail-down guy, but over the last couple years I've switched.

I feel tail-up makes the body of the bait wiggle back and forth a little as the tail twists. Tail-down results in action of the tail only.

I go tail up..........................unless, I am trying to keep the bait up high in the water. Tail down give it a little "lift"
