Senko

Featured Replies

I was watching a fishing show & it showed a senko type bait they was rigging it wacky & the bait had a O Ring molded into the middle of the bait for rigging it wacky ,does anyone know the brand of that bait ? I've only seen it that one time , would You expect anything less .  GodBless & Thank's , Tight Lines    Hey i live North of Chattanooga Tn ,First small town is Spring City Tn  Got anybody close to me ?

The o ring isn't molded into the bait, it's simply installed with a wacky rig o ring tool. I think I bought mine at Bass Pro. The Senko goes inside a small aluminum sleeve and the o rings can roll off the sleeve and onto the bait.

Actually, there was a worm made with the ring molded
in to it.

I know Gander Mountain had similar baits, too. Molded in o-ring is really nice for sure!

They are available at Gander MTN.

How is the action on these cabelas and gander mtn stick baits? I went with the BPS brand largely due to how close their fall rate and action resembled the GYBC Senko. Much closer than Yum, Big Bite, etc.

You can find these, as mentioned, at Cabelas.

Currently on sale, too!

If you like the Gander Trick Stick..Check out Locket Lures....100 packs to the Public at low prices....I have no affiliation but my buddy buys a few hundred from them every year and  the same with the swimming minnow..They make the Gander sticks and other brand soft baits...They are an arm of the OEM Tackle Tour profiled....

I find them a bit stiff personally, but He does great with them...I like the BPS brand when they go on sale and stock up, or buy them in bulk from a local supplier, usually Yum Dingers and a mix of Chompers, Wave, and few other brands....All work well.

An O Ring that you use for lures can also be used for weight on a wacky rig as well as flash.

Does the molded o ring really do anything? I don't see how that would help...
