I don't have the money to throw bath bombs at every potential fish holding location I want to cast at.

 

Apart from that, when I saw him dropping it through a hole in the ice, that looked intriguing. That small school of little bluegill came to investigate the tower of bubbles I'm sure. Very curious creatures they are, and I doubt any scent attractants held the bluegill there, but it did draw them in. Up here in the great frozen tundra, Ice fishing gets real elbow-to-elbow, and often times joining the crowd is a good way to catch fish. If something like this could draw in fish to your holes, I could see it being somewhat beneficial for Ice fishing. Bass fishing however, I don't see it catching on. I'd rather throw my jig at a bass first, before scaring it with a bubble machine. An unaware bass is easier to catch than a bass put on edge.

honestly I may pick some up just to measure some results.  Only going to use it for some offshore striper fishing though.  Throw it out at some deep shad and see if the bubble cloud can bring them up to a 15-30 ft range instead of deeper and hopefully the stripers will follow them up.

Looks like it would be fun for kids

Stationery fishing off a pier or bank it might prove worthy.  Being on a bass boat with your foot glued to your TM, not sure this is for me. 

Just stick chunks of Alka Seltzer in your baits that have air pockets or cavities for rattles.
