Im going to build a rod with the FP-885 blank, but I'm not sure of the sizes I need for some things.

What size reel seat should i get? I was looking at this http://www.mudhole.com/ECSM-Graphite-Blank-Exposed-Reel-Seat-Size-17 or http://www.mudhole.com/ECSM-Graphite-Blank-Exposed-Reel-Seat

Also, I want aluminum winding checks like these http://www.mudhole.com/Dimpled-Aluminum-Winding-Checks-DAWC.  I think I need three because it will be a split grip.  Which sizes should I buy?

It all depends on where you are installing seat as to what size parts you need.  I thought MH had a chart giving blank dimensions at different points along the length for each model.

I'm not aware of anyone else having one.

Even with the chart it's a crap shoot due to manufacturing variables. Best bet is to dry fit the seat and grips and take measurements.
