The Mojo rig is the split shot rig with cylinder shape weight. I prefer the slip shot using a mojo weight and Carolina keeper to stop the weight.

Try the Charlie Brewer site for slider jig video's.

I also prefer a dart head jig in lieu of a slider, 1/8 dart head with 4 1/2" finesse curl tail worm using 6 to 8 lb FC line.

I saw that cylinder weight part and that's what I like, I don't like putting split shots on my line. I was gonna buy some from field and stream today but they only had bullet and big barrel weights for some reason

Bullet weight make a torpedo cylinder weight, supplied with rubber pegs.

Top Brass makes a brass cylinder weight, Iovino supplies this weight painted black, 1/8 oz works good when used with a 7mm glass bead an Carlolina Keeper.

Believe TW sells the all the above.

Well somewhat of a update, I bought some of the thugs requested at the store yesterday and actually caught quite a few fish on them this morning. I have never caught summer jerkbait fish and I caught close to a dozen this morning on a pointer 78, also caught quite a few on a u tale worm Texas rigged with a 1/16 oz weight.

Good deal. I love summer smallies on jerkbaits, you can work them as fast as you want and still catch fish
