Hard cider doesn't agree with me very much.

I've tried several, including the mixtures with
black cherry, and so on...usually only as a
mix with a light beer as alone it is too sweet
for my taste.

But any way I try it, my stomach says "please,
don't do that again...."

If you can find it, give Tieton a try.  They grow the apples for Gerber baby food, and Gerber is so strict on heir quality control they needed something to do with the apples. So they are making ciders, that are all apple( not 2 whole apples per bottle, that is a joke), or apple plus 1 other ingredient for different flavors.  Highly recommend!

next will be a thread about Bartyles and James wine coolers..

Every once in a while I try to relive my visits to England and get a pack of Woodpecker cider.  Have to just enjoy them carefully or they will leave you with a nasty hangover.  I always preferred a snake bite or a snake bite and black.

I don't know if you guys can get it over there, but Aspalls cider http://www.aspall.co.uk/ is really good. Woodpecker and Strongbow are very inferior, like Coors and Bud to micro brews.

You can get some of your better hangovers with cider. It's just too perfect for a sunny Sunday afternoon, but you'll hate yourself by the evening!

I like smith forge and angry orchard and redds

I like Strongbow. It is crisp and refreshing. A great summer/fall drink.

I also recommend Stella Artois Cidre.

For those with a sweet tooth or those looking for more of a kick than the 4.5 ABV cider, add a shot of cinnamon whiskey.

I've tried many types of alcohol. And I can't get away from jack and any dark soda.
