I found a  Shimano ALDEBARAN BFS XG for a good price and was wondering if its worth having in the arsenal. I know its mainly finesse reel but have you guys tested it in other applications? Thanks in advace

I use mine for light topwater  lures.

Its great for small poppers.

The 8:1 gears is great for fast retrieves over dead  water or when  they are schooling  to fire another  cast out.
