The truth is that I´m not impressed at all, one thing I liked about Megabass reels were ( aside from some functional upgrades ) the cosmetic changes that made them so unique, I don´t see that anymore = no longer desirable for me. 

The last Megabass reels in the Alphas platform I was willing to spring the cash were the Zonda Rosso and the Zonda Hedgehog Custom ( to complete the Zonda 68 collection ), but by the time they were available I was no longer purchasing reels, my last purchase was a SS SV ( that´s still in the box ).

Agreed. Wallet is staying closed...

Pretty much seems to be the general consensus. 

Looks like once again they've went with that ill-conceived clear plastic side plate.

New monoblock. Looks like they went back to the weird looking CCC on the original monoblock. Not sure yet how I feel about the brown on the palming side plate.

The only megabass reels I've ever liked the look of were the Ryoga based ones. I would like one of them, though would never want to pay the price for it. Generally I dislike their reels appearance and their rods are really unappealing with a ridiculous collection of parts thrown onto the blank. No where near how I like to build my rods, which are very stripped down.

Could be, knowing Megabass it must be special, like farm raised rhinocerus or something like that.....
