Hey everyone!

My name is Jack and I live near Asheville, North Carolina. I grew up in Cincinnati and was heavily involved in tournament bass fishing but I picked up a fly rod a few years back when I moved down here and that has since become my primary focus. While most of my fishing is for trout with a fly rod now (I am a guide as well), I do enjoy going out on the lake with a buddy and getting back to my roots.

I logged on here hoping to find some insight on fishing for bass in these cool, clear, mountain lakes. The lakes in my area are totally different from what I grew up fishing in southern Ohio! I look forward to learning and becoming a contributing member on Bass Resource.
