So I'm looking for the perfect Texas rig, jig rod and I have found the Denali attax and duckett ghost I'm not looking to spend much over $100. If you have either of these rods can you tell me your opinion and if you think you have a better rod for jigs please tell me. Thanks

Gander mountain has fenwick aetos on sale for $80, I use the 7'2" mh/xf as my jig rod, and I really like it. Check em out!

They are both poor to fair rod manufacturers IMO. I would opt for another brand or something on sale. I would pick a house brand rod like BPS, Scheels, Cabelas, or Academy over it. With a house brand rod you have a nice over the counter no questions asked warranty in play a lot of times.

If you can wait another few weeks, Duckett has a new series called the Triad coming out. They offer a 7' and a 7'3" MH options, which are perfect for your applications. Retail is around $129, but if you ship around, I'm sure eBay and amazon will have them for around $100

Cant speak for Denali But i am not a fan of the guides on my duckett ghost

I've fished the Duckett Ghost and the Abu Garcia Veritas.  The Ghost's sensitivity is incredible.  If you don't plan to use any fluorocarbon over 12 lb test or braid, then the guides won't be an issue.  Of braid or heavy fluorocarbons are necessary, then steer far away from the Duckett Ghost.  I love the Veritas 2.0 though.  Great sensitivity and the guides are decent quality.  Hope this helps.

I have one of Denali's Lithium series crankbait rods and absolutely love it. Their customer service is outstanding as well. 

I am not a fan of Duckett. 

Nothing beats a Tatula rod for $100. Second choice would be a Dobyns Fury. I've owned both and a Duckett Ghost and theres no comparison.

 In that price range I'd be looking at Daiwa Tatula rods on sale, Powell Diesels (on sale at TW) Powell Inferno, St Croix Bass X, or Dobyns Fury.  Of course this is just my opinion based on what I've read and seen in stores. I've fished Denali rods before and was very underwhelmed. Never handled a Duckett but they don't appeal to me. 

 

 

I would go with the dobyns fury. 

The ghost is a good rod sensitive and strong some ppl have had issues with the guides but I have a ghost I got in 2014 when they first came out and I've never experienced any problems.

I just bought the new st. Bass x and I am very impressed. I also have fury which I like to. The bass x is lighter and well balanced. 

Have not handled a Denali, but I had a 7'3 Heavy Ghost. I liked it until it snapped setting the hook, that was about a year and a half after I bought it.
