I just bought a Rage Blade Blaster and can't wait to use it.  It is nothing like anything I own or have seen.  I thought it was something totally new . . . then, when I was looking around at old lure websites I found something similar called the Walker Special.  Has anybody ever fished the Walker Special?  If so, have you also fished the Rage Blade Blaster?  How do they compare?

The website that showed the Walker Special stated it was patented in 1960 (so it's before my time).

I don't know anything about a Walker Special.  I do like the Blaster.  Oversimplification, but I find it to be sort of a combo blade bait and chatterbait.   I got a couple of 1/4 oz versions, but they fish pretty small...small profile...small treble....small fish.  But, they certainly do get bit.  I've got a 1/2 on order -- I'm afraid that the larger weight might drop too fast for my liking, but we'll see.

I believe Mann's used to make a similar bait also. I had something that looked a lot like them a long time ago but can't remember the name of it.
