Do y'all have any tips on storing a kayak outside? I have seen where people have used saw horses or leaned them up against their house but am not sure of the best way. Also, do y'all know of any uv and water resistant covers or tarps that could be used to cover a kayak?

do you own a home? rental? apartment? living with the out-laws? 

This will help to see what are your options. Hanging the kayak in the garage is a good option. 

What kind of yak do you have would help with suggestions also. 

I roll them into the backyard on carts leave them strapped to carts, loosen the straps a little, lock them to a post and throw a tarp over the top.

Mine go in the garage, or in the barn with the boat.
