I'm looking for some fishermen who have recently fished Chickamauga now that winter is upon us. Our first trip 2 weeks ago didn't go so well, a stripe and a perch. Anyone have any lure or location recommendations for this lake? I'm loving what I see as far as structure goes, but I'll have to wait for the water to warm up to fish it once it's covered with water. God I hope the topwater bites are ferocious because I saw a lot of placed that'd be perfect for it.

I don't fish it very often but friends that do are using jerk baits fished slowly, with long pauses. I would start with sliver, black back.
