Berkley Skinny Cutter 110+ Rip Bait

Featured Replies

Have any of you ever fish the Berkley Skinny Cutter 110+ Rip Baits and if so what's your opinion ? At the $7.99 price point it sounds like a great bait for the money. I fished the Berkley Skinny Cutter 110+ in clear waters most of the time. I fished Black Silver, Chameleon Pearl, and Ghost Vapor. The Smallmouth Bass that I caught in the Colorado River seemed to be attached to them. Hope that other fisherman have good luck with these Rip Baits.

I own several, all the Berkley hard baits have been solid but these are one of the top 3 for sure. I bought one of them at the Classic at Grand Lake that barely has any paint left on it I've caught so many fish with it. The hooks are great too, which is always a big plus when I can fish it with confidence right out of the package.

i have used them, great jerk bait for the price. Definitely one of my top jerk baits.

They even work when you break the lip off!! :)

Is there a noticeable difference between the regular cutter 110+ and the skinny cutter while fishing? I've used the regular one and really like it. Are there conditions where one would consistently out-perform the other(or maybe a particular niche for one or the other)? I'm curious about trying the skinny cutter but also want to keep the bait monkey chained up.

Yes, the Skinny Cutter offers much less resistance and offers a more lively action because of it. I personally prefer the Skinny Cutter to the regular.

Seeing a lot of people who prefer the "skinny" cutter and I'm starting to second guess the order thats in transit right now.

I fish heavier line (up to 15# fluoro) for some jerkbaits and I'm curious how the regular 110+ will respond....
