Swimbaits: Which & Why?

Featured Replies

After cleaning out and organizing all my tackle last night, I came across a few jointed swimbaits and I was wondering if anybody has used them and if they had success.

If you have used them, or any suggestions of your own for good swimbaits--let me know!

I haven't used any of those you listed, but I'd highly suggest checking out either the Savage Gear line up of swimbaits, or a River2Sea S waver 168 if you're looking for an affordable option to get into swimbaits. The Savage Gear Shine Glide is one of my favorites.

Bargin swimbaits rarely work well with a few exceptions; Spro BBZ and Savage Gear in the $20 price range. $40-$50 range Triton Mikes Bull Shad and Mike Shaw Slammers. Most the higher end jointed swimmer work good, you get what you pay for.
