What is everyone's opinions on Shimano Crucial spinning rods. Bought a 6'6" medium fast and a 6'6" medium heavy fast. Got them brand new for $60 a piece. Looked to good to pass up!

Not my favorite but they will get thd job done

For 60 bucks they are solid at full price you can do better.

I have an older crucial drop shot rod and love it. I really like the crucial line. At $60 i wouldve had a hard time not buying 10!

Wow, $60 each?! Great buy, IMO. Don't use the

Crucials, but I've eyed them in-store, handled 

them a lot. Like the feel, balance, prefer the older

cork models, though...

These are the full cork models. They brought them back. I fish from a kayak and they have a shorter butt which is helpful in the yak.

I actually shortened the butt end of my BPS Carbonlite

(one of them) to make it more kayak friendly  6'6"

rod is now 6'3".

I have one of the new spinning models paired with my Sustain as my finesse rig / river-wading-smallmouth rig. I love the rod. It's sensitive, built well, and looks good
