Does anybody know of any saltwater fishing forums that are similar to this site?

360tuna, noreast, bloodydecks, 2coolfishing. Those should cover your west coast, east coast and Gulf of Mexico areas

Oh yes, saltwater guys spend $500-$800 on an outfit and have maximum drag discussions about catching 2-10 lb fish all the time...

Most are regional, there are a bunch of good ones.

Try searching salt water inshore and off shore fishing forums.
