My wife grew up on a dairy farm, so I did the living room to reflect her heritage.  The fireplace wall is barn board.   The stones for the fireplace came from her parent's farm.  The other walls are a barn red with white trim 

nice, the personal touch even makes it better. her is quilting cutting table and sewing desk with electric lift, that I made from some sassafras .that come off of farm where we used to live

Great work!  One my projects this coming year will be to build a nice storage area for my fishing tackle down by the boat in the horse stables.  I currently have most of my stuff in the mud room.
