DIY Deck Straps?

Featured Replies

For the price of those at tackle warehouse, why bother? They work great and I doubt that a DIY would be as cheap. That being said, 2" wide webbing and Velcro would be my best guess.

I am looking for a way to make DIY rod straps. They will hold my rods down when traveling.http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/T-H_Marine_Rod_Tamer_Deck_Mount_Rod_Straps/descpage-THMRT.html

I have been using these for years. never had a problem. cheap, easy to install and replace if needed. never had a boat long enough to replace them.

Any place that sells boating supplies and equipment will have them locally.

A bag of small bungees at you local DIY big box store cost the same as one of those.

I thought I got a good deal on the ones I bought off amazon.  Those are the same thing and a lot cheaper on TW. :(
