Fixing leaking rivets in a jon boat?

Featured Replies

I'm getting ready to sell my jon boat and move on to another.  I have quite a few leaky rivets on it and was wondering if there were any suggestions on how to fix them relatively easily and quickly.  I was thinking of possibly coating the bottom of the boat with the "rhino linging" truck bed spray stuff that you can do yourself.  Anyone have any suggestions?

rhino lining adds a BUNCH of weight to the boat. Try looking into JB Weld.  I think you can get it at Lowe's or Home Depot.

we had the same problem and my best friend and i used plasti-dip spray. it can be found at lowes or home depot

Paint with a thin layer of Fiber Glass Resin   8-)

Try some J-B Weld Marine epoxy on the offending rivets and joints. It truly does work.
