Bridges or just roads?

Featured Replies

Found these two structures underwater in my local lake. Not sure if they're roads, or bridges. I scanned 360* around these structures and found nothing else, which makes me think they're stone bridges. You can see the guard rails.

Any thoughts?

Typically bridges will be recorded as more of an arch shape than they really are:

Look like playground slides to me? Bass love slides. It's a little known fact of bass behavior. :)

The structure is around 15' wide.

Looks like a bridge to me.

Never seen a road that drops sharply on both sides typically.  First pic seems to show a depression near object

Agreed, it's a bridge.  A roadbed is a little more subtle, sometimes having little ditches on either side.  Nothing so sharplydefined as that.  Pretty cool!

Both are close to the main river channel, so I'd bet they're open underneath. Going to be great bass and catfish spots!
