Saw this lure featured in an article and have to say I love the look of the smallmouth bass.  A little pricey, but I can't help but think that the local apex predators will be all over this.  Does anyone have experience throwing this bait?  It also comes in largemouth bass coloration.

 

 

Bassroid, gillroid, ayuroid and gillpop all look sick.  Wish I lived in an area it really made sense to throw them!  

Definitely!  Where I live there are tons of smallmouth 10-15 inches in size.  There's a steady pike and muskie population as well, so this would a great bait to throw around.  Would not fish it without a steel leader though.

I want a gillpop so bad, but I've never caught many fish on any gill baits except the SG 3D gill. That gillpop is sure a killer in my head though, so many places I can picture it getting smoked by a big bass, but the same thing happened with my Deps Bullshooter Jr, and that never materialized.

I use the gillroid here in NH and it gets hit, a lot.

I think that would be a great muskie and pike bait i want to buy one to try it out fir some muskie action.
