Had a guide trip yesterday and we ended up with my 3rd 100+ fish day of the year. We were catching them so good, I decided to do 2 at a time. If you've never fished the big Shine Glide, it's a killer gizzard shad imitation and the fish crush them.

Got any tips on followers. Been having 50-60 followers on deps 250s every trip out still have yet to have one hit. was awesome at first then got real frustrating.

I speed the bait up or kill it, sometimes one then the other. What triggers one day might not the next. It seems like speeding it up is usually the best option. The way I see it, baitfish usually don't stop or slow down when their life is on the line. A lot of times I'll even have the bait bulging the surface and popping out of the water. It works great when they're chasing big gizzard shad that like to jump out of the water to avoid predators. 

Good God.  100 fish in one day.  

 

In about 9 months of fishing, I've caught 5.

You got over 100 bass on a big glide bait?! Wow, with a ned rig I can see doing that but not with a big shine glide.

No, I caught several plus this double on a big glide that day. A 3.8 Keitech on an underspin and a swinghead with a Z man Boar HogZ caught a lot of my fish that day.
