Well the boat is in but...,please read and help

Featured Replies

Well the boat i ordered is in and ready for pickup,but...the guy that was going to buy mine

is waiting on a guy to buy his!I do have the option of trading mine in,the dealer wished i

could have sold mine, but i'm being held up by my man.Question, would you try and post the

boat on ebay again since its fishing season very shortly or do you think i'll waste 40 bucks

on ebay again. :) I could start my bid at 3000.00 and let it go from there instead of

putting a hidden reserve in.My guy could drag as long as his man is.

WHAT WAS THE TRADE IN VALUE?  MIGHT JUST BE BETTER OFF DOING THAT?

I would want to know what they will offer you for a trade.  IMO trading to the dealer is typically a loss vs selling outright.  Bass Boat season is here.  The next couple of months you should be able to move your boat fast and for top dollar.

I beleive this to be true, although it is only my opinion.

ask your delaer if he will let you put the boat at his place on consignment??  Maybe he will agree not to take a fee since you are buying from him already, and your boat being there will help pull traffic to his dealership.  Just and idea!!

Dealer will purchase the boat but would have liked if i had sold it.It is on ebay now,if

it doesn't sell i'll take it to him and trade and go on with life... :-/

There are plenty of better ways to sell your boat than ebay. Try CraigsList. It's always better to be able to meet someone in person for a sale like that. Good Luck... If you can't find anyone to buy it, I'll come by and pick it up if it's gettin' in you way. LOL

either by sale or traded in next week. ::o :o

Some boats are contingent on buyers approval and the final check handed over upon inspection.  The fact he wants to look at the boat would indicate he's interested.

I understand cart but with it being posted twice on ebay and the same thing happening each time with people interested just trying to skirt around the ebay process i have wasted enough time with this boat

already and money, two wasted ebay postings and $100.00 loss.I will email him and tell him that if it doesn't sell on ebay he will have two days to come look at the boat if he is that interested in it

and after that it will be hooked up to a fourrunner and hauled to SC to trade in.

Definately better places to sell than on ebay.  There are web sites that specialize in just bass boating.  Try their flea markets too.

Is there a tackle shop that would let you put it out front for $100 if it sells , or somthing like that?

Good Luck.
