I think it's great that you bought a boat with the side mounted seats in the stern. That will be a whole lot less stress on your back with an outboard motor. After a day in my Sea Nymph my back would give me fits.

I would also look into putting foam between the ribs and overlaying that with thin marine plywood so that you don't trip when moving from stern to bow.

Sometimes I miss the simplicity of my old jon.  Then I climb into the drivers seat, fire up the motor, and go fast.

Yep, a custom floor of some type is to come...haven't decided on ply, aluminum tread plate or maybe even planking the sucker with that composite decking stuff. Going to carpet the front deck and the rear pods. Have gave thought to turning one of the rear side pods into storage but not sure if I want to give up the floatation or not.

Love that floor plan!  I have the pods in the back of one of my boats.  Pretty nice!
