I'm looking for a recommendation for a 5:1 reel for deep cranking.  I have an Orra Winch and Tatula CT but I'm looking for something a little more refined.  What do you guys use?

Shimano Calcutta 200D ~  however it's 5.7: 1

 It depends if you´re a righty or a lefty! If you´re a righty theres lots of options out there...  it´s just a matter of you chosing the one that you like the most. I´m a left hand retrieve guy... i use two Abu Garcia Revo Winchs, 1 Gen 1 (the blue one) and one Gen 2 (the black one), and one Lews BB1. The BB1 and Gen 2 Revo Winch are the better casters, the Gen 1 Revo Winch it´s, by far, the most smooth and refined...  i like all three but if i have to choose only one it would be the Gen two revo...  i feel it to be the better reel all things considered...

I prefer round reels over low profile for cranking deep diving lures do to larger diameter spools, strong frames and quite smooth gears.

A-Jays suggestion is ideal, any of the Calcutta's or the lower price point Cardiff all perform good.
