well my boat has that greenish brownish water line on it and i would like to get it off. whats the best to use to remove this crap. my buddy is a professional metal refinisher so i am getting some chemicals to brighten the aluminum to new again but he said i gotto get the green line off first.

Not quite sure...you could try power washing it.  

Dawn dish soap and warm water works most of the time.

Simple green should work too. It's all natural, not harmful, etc.

umm mostly north jersey. swartswood,cranberry,aeroflex,hapatcong. also farington davidson mills,westons mills and carnigie and ive been to union lake once

Try this: http://www.bassboatsaver.com/ it has worked wonders on my boat.  No more scum line, protects it from the sun and it makes it shine real pretty!!!  Also a cheaper method try 1/2 vineagar 1/2 water.

bassboatsaver is a VERY good product for your fiberglass boat.  Makes it easy to keep it clean and free of scum, waterline.  I would imagine it would do fine on an aluminum boat also since it does so on trailers, motors, trucks, etc.  Good stuff.

well i called tracker and they said to use a product called Aluminex made by marykate. its an acid and is used on aluminum hulls and pontoons.
