Featured Replies

A piece of plywood a few golf club tubes and a cheap hole saw set can net you a real good rod locker rod holder.

The last alum boat I had I took careful measurements, went to a metal shop and had some alum. designed to extend the front deck.  All I had to do was carpet it drill a few holes and bolt it in place.  It gave me lots of extra deck space and a handy storage spot for gear out of the way.

yeah im thinking about extending the deck but i think im gonna start with little things. deck seems like a bigger project than im ready for still. maybe sometime in the summer or fall for next year.

as far as the rod locker i was thinking that to organize it bit but the trackers are a little cramped and hard to get stuff into. being 3 of 4 rods are spinning i have bigger eyes and i dunno if they will fit in a tube like that?

Buy a few rod socks.  They slide over your rods and prevent tangling.

An onboard battery charger is a great mod.  Easy to install and very practical.

I put a vertical rod holder ($8.95 from WMart) on my console.  Holds six rods in an upright position and keeps them out from underfoot.  It was a very good mod, cheap and easy.

They don't go in but a few inches as you cut the tubes off to maybe a foot.  I use them all the time for spinning rods up to 7' long with no problems what so ever.

not exactly sure what u mean? maybe a cheapo diagram u can draw on paint?

12 volt TM? If so, I'm guessing your trolling motor has a 40amp in-line fuse close to the TM battery. If so, I would suggest buying a 40amp circuit breaker and replacing the fuse set up.

BTW, that's a great rig!

:) :)

well thats another things down... the guy i bought it from put the push button circuit breaker in to replace the fuse lol
