Does anybody have first hand knowledge of these cranks? How do you like them? What kind of a wobble do they have? Do they hold up?

Tight wobble, cold water cranks. Think of them basically like a shad rap. There's a lot of other flat sided cold water cranks that I reach for first. But I know they're popular with trout and walleye guys 

Based on the money and looks they would seem to be a Shad Rap Lite...if they are good quality at half the price I may consider some.

Good cranks. Lil #5's are perch, sunfish, crappie, and bass killers

I've caught some fish with them. The hooks have held up after some decent pike. I repainted a few of mine so I'm not sure on the factory paint job.

So these look to me like a Rapala Shad Rap clone, do you think they are as good or close enough to the Rapala that you would buy these at roughly $3 less per bait vs. the Shad rap or would you stick to the tried and true Rapala version despite the cost difference?

I will troll with one quite often and catch quite a few.

I have a dozen or so in a couple sizes.  As mentioned above, tight wobble, cold water.  Iv had some success in late fall with them.  I'll probably busy em out here in about a month.

They're a good trolling bait, but I have not had much success with them casting for bass. I've fished them in the same areas and times I'd use a shad rap and had no luck, just to go back through with a shad rap and catch several fish.

This is what I was looking for! I had a suspicion this might be the case or these would have been all the rage but they're not so it made me skeptical.

There will always be a difference between plastic baits and balsa baits. 

The three colors that I like the best are Black Silver, Chartreuse Pearl and Pearl White... These colors cover the majority of the water colors that I fish... Try using different colors to see what works for you... Check the PRIME LOCATIONS such as along river channel ledges, sunken islands, points and other good sub-surface structures... You can troll or cast this lure , it is very versatile... The lures come with two color styles, "Flashy" and "Slick"... The 3/16 Oz. may dive to 11 feet on 6 pound fluorocarbon fishing line... The bait has a internal sound chamber with glass beads... The hooks are Mustad Ultra Points...
