Does anybody fish in the Quabbin reservoir frequently? I have fished there once and I actually caught my PB Smallie on a lipless crank (3.5 lbs). I am going back in October and I was looking for some tips and tricks for there (Locations, lures, lure colors, etc.). If anyone has any tips, I would LOVE to hear them, I'm not very experienced so im always open to tips. Also if you wanna suggest any of your favorite deep, clear water lures for anywhere cause thats what the Quabbin is.

I would recommend you post this question in the Northeast section of the Local Fishing Forums here in BR.

I fish the quabbin pretty frequently, check out my posts in "eastern mass fishing reports" on it by running a search on the forums for the word "Quabbin".  I'll likely fish it either Sunday or Monday this upcoming weekend.  Good time of year for healthy and hungry smallmouth
