Can anyone help a newby on his 1st trip to Lake Wheeler in Decatur Alabama,,

I've never fished that particular lake but on the same river a few lakes up on the same river I'm hearing they are eating frogs on top of the scum and chasing baitfish out on the edges of scum. If that's not working go with summer ledge patterns because it's still summer weather wise 

if the spots there are like the ones in lay lake they like the rocky points. green pumpkin red finess worm on bullet sinker or shaky head. red eyed shad, rattling roage. good luck!
