Denali Rosewood 903cb reviews?

Featured Replies

Recently picked up this rod used off of ebay, didn't really need a cranking rod, but looked at original msrp and I got about 80% off. Can't seem to find any reviews on YouTube. Anyone have experience with this rod? I have another 7'5 cranking rod that I bought but it fishes heavier than expected and now I use it for carolina rigs and wobble heads. Hoping this new rod fished lighter so I can use it for lipless cranks and 2.5 square bills.

The Rosewood was replaced by the Lithium series. Many of the models carried over but I don't think the 903 was one of them.

I throw deep little N's on the longer 3 powers, and they work great.  A DD-22 will really push that rod.

I seldom throw a lipless bait on Table Rock but I'm sure it will handle one fine.

For me, it's a bit long for a squarebill rod. I really like the 843 cb for 1.5 and 2.5's.

I can't say about the cranking rod but I used the 6'10" MH spinnerbait and 6'10" Hvy frog rod religiously until I snapped them closing my tailgate on them. I loved the MH for not only spinnerbaits but also lipless, chattebaits and smaller jigs. They have great sensitivity and really good backbone for how light they are.

Denali gets a bad rap because they allow anyone on staff and then the staff flood the internet with their agenda. Overall though Denali Rods are great sticks and very underappreciated.
